Henning Rasmuss
Director Crux Architects Africa
Henning established Crux Architects Africa in April 2022, following 24 years as founding co-director at Paragon Group. Henning has extensive continental African experience across 23 countries, going as far back as involvement in Angola since 2002, more broadly in East Africa since 2007, and in West Africa since 2012. Crux Architects Africa is designed to merge technology adoption with a human-centric approach to Architecture and Masterplanning. Henning is dedicated to the dynamic and fluid property development and design-construct industry active on the African continent. Within Crux, he focusses on business development, contract law and inter-cultural communication. He actively designs projects with teams, and takes on key project delivery responsibilities. Crux is a business vehicle for deploying Henning’s passion for development of African cities and African property economies. Crux actively collaborates in turnkey teams and engages actively in EPC or ‘Design-Build’ teams with established building contractors.

Vivien Yun
Architecture Lead
Vivien has over 20 years’ experience as a practicing architect, having worked extensively in the corporate commercial, mixed-use and retail sectors at senior management level and as Architecture Lead on notable projects across the African continent. Her working relationship with Henning spans many years, making her an excellent choice as Architecture Lead in Crux Architects Africa. Vivien’s human-centric, socially aware and collaborative approach places value on bringing sensitivity, high-level expertise and excellence to each and every project. Her architectural skills include project management, contract administration, business management and managing client relations, design, technology and construction, with over 20-years’ experience working in Autodesk Revit and BIM environments.

Aneesh Parbhoo
BIM Lead
As an architectural technologist with over 10 years of experience, in various project types and scales, Aneesh brings technically excellent skills to the Crux Architects Africa team. He has been involved in multiple projects in various roles and capacities and has assisted in the successful completion of several buildings. His keen interest in the technical side of the built environment and making buildings work and function in the most efficient manner is at the core of his role as BIM Lead. His focus is on working in and creating highly structured BIM delivery environments, utilizing a range of technologies to create information-rich 3D Models, schedules and workflow processes to aid in collaboration and delivery of projects.

Tracey Gardner
Integrator
Over three decades, Tracey has cultivated a distinctive blend of management, creative and interpersonal skills across diverse professional realms. This unique expertise empowers her to be agile as the Business Operations Integrator role requires. Within the team she fosters collaboration, drawing the best from individuals by intuitively understanding their motivations. Supported by diverse qualifications, Tracey’s leadership and organizational capacities are robust, employing a creative, systemic approach she harmonizes critical thinking with attention to detail and holistic vision. Balancing strategy and execution, she optimizes organizational productivity. As an avid environmentalist her intention is to align all her endeavours with sustainability principles, so that the architecture Crux creates impacts communities, structures, and ecosystems positively.

Ngonidzashe Tavuyanago
Design Architect
Ngoni has been in the Crux Architects Africa team since its inception and has grown from Candidate Architect, by translating his exceptional academic aptitude, into Design Architect. He is a highly driven architecture enthusiast, equipped with a rigorous work ethic and a highly creative, ambitious and innovative mind. Ngoni is particularly passionate about form-making and broadly the development of architecture as a tool that can enrich lives through spatial experiences. He is also in the process of capitalising on real estate business opportunities through further studies. Technically he can conceptualise, design and develop detailed models using BIM Cloud-Based software such as Autodesk Docs and BIM 360. As a succinct storyteller he believes that Architecture is a language with world-changing abilities.

RUAN HAYES
Design Architect
Ruan is a curious, focussed and hard-working architect who enjoys the dynamic business environment of Crux Architects Africa. His engagement in this diverse and disciplined team, where he makes decisions based on sound logic while pushing the limits, allows him to create the extraordinary, exploring the essence, craft and beauty of architecture. As a conscientious, disciplined professional, who takes pride in the quality, accuracy and impact of his contributions, he is passionate about being a part of the evolution of the field of architecture and taking this profession into the far limits of our imaginations. He constantly challenges the confines of working in the African context, to create a built world for all to enjoy, for decades to come.

Mudiwa Kowo
Senior Architectural Technologist
With 15 years in architectural practice, Mudiwa is a highly effective and resourceful project manager, architectural designer, and team leader. Known for his critical thinking and goal- oriented approach, he continually seeks to apply his expertise to world-class architectural projects, ensuring their success. Mudiwa’s essential competencies include project management and planning, site management, team coordination, production and documentation management, and tender bid appraisal. His extensive experience as a project leader has sharpened his skills in managing project milestones and fostering strong relationships among project consultants, clients, end users, main contractors, sub-contractors, and other stakeholders. Technically, Mudiwa is well versed in the BIM Level 2 and 3 team-work environment, and the management of its related BIM/CAD systems. His ability to coordinate, collect, and integrate interdisciplinary data further enhances his value to the team.

Ashleigh Sakala
Candidate Architect
As both a critical and creative thinker, Ashleigh, has the innate ability to be adaptive, innovative and versatile. Not one to shy away from challenges, she is solution-orientated, quick to think out-of-the box and on her feet. Her passion for architecture is centred around creating meaningful designs that positively impact the world we live in. Technically Ashleigh is proficient in current design software like AutoCAD, Revit, Adobe InDesign and more, Ashleigh is comfortable working both independently and as part of a larger team where her attention to detail, great communication skills, design talent and work ethic allow her to build solid relationships and spaces of distinction.
